Description of the Project:
Vodafone wanted to prove their passion for communication by rescuing the heart of communication: the language. Therefore Vodafone started a mission to save the language Ayapaneco from extinction. A heart-breaking story of the two last speakers, caught in a fight that's led to them not having talked to each other since decades. The whole campaign can be described as a rescue mission that led people on a platform, where they got involved in saving the language forever. And so, a digital legacy was built: a social dictionary that made more than 5000 words immortal and preserved the cultural knowledge of an entire language.
