The Formica Envisualizer is a browser-based algorithmic design platform that can create beautiful custom laminate patterns in seconds. It is composed of three separate tools: a pattern creator, inspired by classic Formica designs, that uses vector shapes to formulate unique compositions of context, color and placement. A series of experimental brushes create kinetic art with a few mouse clicks, or an interactive kaleidoscope which can turn any existing pattern, piece of artwork or picture into a mesmerizing repeating pattern.
